i get along with my room mate well in college, but i like my privacy. she's kind of a neat freak, and i'm not, but we get along fine. she also has a huge sweet fridge that i always use, and she never does, and she has no prob with me using it. should i pay $400 extra next semester and get my own room, or stay with her?

You seem to be quite comfortable with her in spite of her being a neat freak .At least your room will be clean all the time.Does that bother you a lot? if it does then you should move out.But I suggest to pick some good habit from her.I don't think she interferes with your privacy or does she Anyway give a thought or two before deciding.

It is entirely up to you. You've metioned that you like your privacy and you're not a neat freak so it would be best if you pay an extra $400 to get your own room. You guys get along fine and she has no problem of you not being a neat freak and having a huge sweet fridge. Do what you think is best- for your own interest, NOT your roommates. Hope this helps. Best of luck.

Well if you like your own privacy then i really think that you should get your own room. Why be there if you dont have the privacy that you want. Then to top it off she is a neat freak and you are not, eventually you two well bump head about that.

If you really like your privacy then get your own room, but if you stay with her, that would be $400 you are savin. Why dont the 2 of you get an apartment with 2 bedrooms and you both will have privacy.

At college everything is so expensive, why don't you stay with your roommate and save that money, just in case you ever need it, it will be there or you can take some of that money and buy some grocery for the both of you since she is sharing her fridge. Don't be a user though that not a friend that you want to be.
