If you're in the UK you can't really be employed unless you're 16 or over. But I am 14 and do a paper round. Maybe he could do that? I do mine twice a week on Thursdays and Fridays.

when i was 15 i worked in a newsagents at the weekends. you should ask you local newsagents if they need help on a weekend. i think they would be glad of the help.

when i was 15 i worked on a saturday in a cafe and in the evening an indian restaurant!!do some thing like that..its fun abd you normally get free food!!

How about babysitting? Believe me chasing after and entertaining children while maintaining your cool is good practice for any job.

i know what you are going through i really need a job too, but everyone ses "paperound!" and i hate it!so try and go around the neighborhood and ask them for chores... it seems stupid and a waste of time, but it works!
