What are the benefits of working at a movie theater? How old do you have to be? Would it be better to work at BlockBuster instead? If so, what are the benefits of BlockBuster?

blockbuster cus you'd have to sweep up popcorn and clean sticky floors in the theater! blockbuster you can pick a film and just stand around watching it

I had a friend who worked at BlockBuster. He said that the only problem with that place was that is was sooo boring. I worked at a theater for 6 years and I can tell you that I had a mix experience from it. There are bad days and there are good days. Good days is when the managers go home and you and your fellow employees get to goof off in the theater (ie. popcorn fight, stealing...I mean taking teddy bears from those crane machines). Bad days are when you have ****** customers. You can also find love there. Or a hook up lol. Plus, you get to see movies for free and sometimes you can take crap like posters and promotional items. I took a huge banner of "Sin City" one time. T-shirts, key chains, pins. The only bad "job" there would have to be either concession or Management itself. That's why I became a projectionist instead. Just try it out!

Working in a movie theater is boring, and it pays terribly.
I never worked at Blockbuster, but it doesn't look much better. Good luck!
