Should I buy a copper topped kitchen table? I have kids and will be using it every day.?

They'll last forever but it won't necessarily look good forever. They're easily scratched and stained and over time unless protected they do oxidize and start to look like a dark penny.

Bad idea. It will eventually turn green and get dented.
