If you are a tourist, London is the more expensive city to visit but if you are looking to work in either city, you will find that Dublin is more expensive as the cost of living is expensive in proportion to average earnings...trust me I lived there!

There was a poll on Radio 2 a few weeks ago about this.
Cardiff has become the most expensive city in the world to live in.
Obviously most will gasp at this.
It's all to do with cost of living, ie house prices, transport issues, salaries etc verses what's left in your pocket at the end of the month.
Cardiff salaries are very low compared to the UK, and house prices have risen faster in the last 5 years than any other part of the UK.
