How do you install MAME and x-men children of atom for pc?

I can't install my downloaded MAME and x-men children of atom in my pc. My pc's specs are Pentium 4, 3 ghz, 256 ram 80 gb. How do you install and run these on my pc? If anybody can help me it will be highly appreciated thanks.

Your Computer is plenty powerfull enough, look over this sight http://www.mame.net/ its the official MAME sight.

Next I suggest using mame plus/ mame 32 click this link and it will download. http://mameplus.emu-france.com/download/...

You will need this program to open it and install it: http://superb-west.dl.sourceforge.net/so...

I would also suggest a large drive allotted for this to be loaded on like around 100GB.

usually MAME emulator comes in RAR form.U do not need to install it.U only need winrar software on ur pc then right click on the downloaded MAME and click on extract it choose the loacation where u want.And then double click on extracted folder and then click on mame exe file.For game u mentioned should in "rom" forlder inside mame folder.After runing mame exe file.u must also give following command to add this game in mame list.File-Aduit all games.This step is required for every game that u will put in rom folder.
