I have title white counter tops and I am a clean freak. Is there away or a product to seal the top of my title counter tops in a clear coat to protect the tile and keep them very white from stains and cooking? I really want like a teflon easy wipe off affect when wipe-ing down my kitchen counters everyday because the kids make such messes.

Just a wipe down and go...for a white white look in my kitchen
(yes I do clean regular for everyone with a smart A@@ remarks)

Thank you for your reply!

you see it was a bad idea to install ceramic tile on counter tops because its the most used serface in a house there is nothing to put on it if you want something just wipe and go take it all off and install granite or any hard surface tops

There is a sealant that you can by that makes cleaning tile a lot easier. I forget what it is called but it is in the ceramic tile supply aisle at most hardware stores. You spray it on and it seals the grout. I am assuming it is the grout that you want to be easier to maintain as tiles themselves wipe up quite nicely.

So, buy the sealant, let it dry and you will be bright white, dirt free and happy.

No offense to you are any who answer, but "coating" any surface that possibly comes in contact with food is not a good idea. Beyond that, depending on the counter top surface substance, no type of coating will be life lasting. Tiles and micas aren't designed to accecpt and retain coatings. Certainly with tile, a grout sealer can help, but in all, you'll still have to clean on a regular basis.

Well simple yaught varnish or gloss paint will do pretty well; like as well as it does on a shelf. Just start of by sanding it lightly to give the paint a key. Or what about buying a new worksurface; they're only like about $100-200 dollars. that's what I'd do, and just throw the old one out. I'm a carpentar of 13 years.
