Is the person homeless by choice or by circumstances? I was homeless once by circumstances. The NYS help me get back on my feet through its shelter system program. It put my children and I in a temporary building until they found where to place me in housing project. While in the system, I met many who desire was not to leave behind such circumstances. It is very difficult help those who do not want to help themselves. The homeless I met, would make statements that imply it was not by choice that they were in does circumstance: then, in the other hand, their action showed the opposite. I since have purchase three homes.
