I am going as Venus the goddess of beauty but i'm not sure how to do my makeup and hair. I'm brunette and dark eyes fair skin

when your hair is still damp apply a lotion called Curls Rock made by catwalk. then separate your hair into sections....from each section pull hair into a half inch and twist it with you fingers and let it fall...do each section this wail and you will end up with soft coil curls....let it dry and it will hold up really good. it should look goddess like. Foe your make up just add a little blush...but really do up your eyes going for the smokey look....and some sparkles on your temples...add some lip gloss and you are a goddess! have fun!

Umm - how can I say this..... Venus was - as you say - the Goddess of beauty - she didn't wear make-up!!!!!!! If you have long brunette hair and dark eyes with fair skin - I'd say you're halfway there! The only other tiny little issue............in most paintings, she appears naked!! Have fun - I'm sure the other party goers will!

Try a classic up-do with a few ringlets hanging down if your hair is long enough, or curl it for a more relaxed effect. As for the makeup, use it to enhance your best features of course! You don't want to go too heavy or garish, but Venus was all about making herself look her best and she was very bold about her flirtations, so have a little fun with it.

I like the make up ideas. But if you have long hair you should just wear it down. Make sure you really have it flat, and than a crown of flowers. That way people can see the natural beauty.

I completely agree with cathy s's answer but I would add some drama by wearing some extra long and full fake eyelashes!
