Their extremist environmentalism would further expand government powers, at the necessary cost of your rights and freedoms and the Constitution.

Their policies are basically a totalitarian dictate on how they will force you to live.

No thanks.

The green party has a lot of negatives and positives although the negatives are prominent at the moment. The green party constantly brings weak candidates to the table with crack pot notions like legalizing pot. You know, I don’t care if pot is legal or not but don’t make that your platform. The green party is seriously under funded and due to the negatives of the current political structure in America these negatives will continue to prevail. I say the green party and several more are necessary to bring much needed alternatives to the table. I am tired of choosing the monkey on the left or the right, which one will do the least damage, I want more options. I want the option to say NONE of these candidates, give us 4 more to chose from, that’s what I want to see on the ballot. I say the biggest negative of the green party is the political structure of the US suppressing any other than the democrat or republican party. So there. :-)

again, people focus on one issue and call that "the party" .. the green party does share a lot of liberal idealism, but they have a larger focus on the environment if I'm not mistaken.. hence the "green".. the only true negative is that they are small and therefor as for now have little chance of getting someone in to office.

They are recycled socialists. The bad things are a reduction in industrial development, an increased dependency on imports, increased unemployment.

Why is it necessary? It is not necessary at all. They simply have some policies which other parties could take over. But nothing that important.

The green party wants to legalize marijuana if I am not mistaken. Legal marijuana would be a definite negative. I really don't think any party is necessary.

yes, perhaps America needs to stay divided in a 2 party system, stiffling any other voices -

yes, no one should be able to express thier opinion in this fine country - especially if they care about the environment - whos only political voice comes through concerned human beings -

no - people who are sincerely concerned that we will have a healthy world to live in -should be quickly shut up and done away with -

is this what you want to hear?

I'll see you in the fields of dead things, soon... won't that be nice?
