Do you remember watching cartoons or films for kids as a child and seeing an object that you thought was so cool but you knew it did not exist in real life? What was it? I remember seeing a ring in a film (it belonged to a princess) and it glowed when she twisted it - it was a sort of time machine - I thought it was fantastic and I felt disappointed when I found out it didn't exist... :-)

I wanted PeeWee Herman's bike that would fly at the end of the episodes. And it had all those neat gadgets too.

It sounds like I was watching cartoons before you were, but I do understand. We didn't walk into just any store and buy toys, a lot of stores sold toys during Christmas, but we were not asking for things that we saw on cartoons.. The thing I do remember though is thinking Spinach would make you strong and you could do anything as long as you ate spinach like Popeye. Of course it didn't work.

Unicorns~I thought they were so great and then seeing them at the circus really made me believe in them, I even said I would own one when I was old enough to buy one.
