Isn't it a shame on the powerful countries in this world to see the needy people dying of poverty and hunger in Africa and Asia, and to see a country occupying another and do nothing but watching?

Charity is short term and in my opinion an insult
We need political solutions, political change as to come from the bottom up, only the poor can change their lot.

Well, Firstly why are the countries in Asia and Africa in today's position and why are developed countries in a different position. In the past there must have been something different about them that has led them to be the way they are today. A change can be made provided the government and social system accepts to change.
As far as occupying another country , I am not in favour of war. With peace and patience a lot can be achieved.

we live a society that is so self centred no one really cares whats going on past there water cooler at work many talk but really nothing is getting done
