Isn't there a limit to how much failure a "good old boy" network can nourish?

I might pay either of these so-called "executives" a few million dollars if I were the club owners to STAY AWAY from my teams! There is NOTHING executive or worth paying either for. Results oriented? These losers don't have a clue and are on the verge of ruining, if they haven't already, both franchises.

I am sure the Knicks' Thomas is basking in his 3-0 COACHING record in the NBA PRE-SEASON, which means NOTHING! Meanwhile, Millen continues to wreck the NFL Lions with his sheer incompetence. Of course, Ford is also overseeing billions of dollars lost each quarter on the car company.

NO doubt whatsover I could do better in either job, just with my sports knowledge and business experience. To watch such incompetence in any organization actually is painful.

I have closely followed most sports for over four decades and have never witnessed this kind of incompetence. Fans shouldn't even support them!

You answered your own question. My answer is Thomas and Millen are in "good company" for there are many just like them. Now as to which is worse...six of one and half dozen of the other..depends who is the loudest prima donna on any particular given day.

Isaiah Thomas - there's only 12 guys on a basketball roster, and THOUSANDS of players to choose from. If you can't get the best 12, then you have a problem.

Millen has a little more margin for error, I think there's 50 some players on an NFL team. Some of them are bound to be busts.

But it's a good question - and very close between the two.

Matt Millen is by far worse than Isaiah. Not saying that Isaiah isn't bad - look at his track record with the Pacers.

But, at least Isaiah is being held accountable for his actions this year. He's running the team, and if they don't produce, he's out.

Wish I could say the same for Millen and my Loins.

Isaiah Thomas by far the Lions have always been a joke. The knicks were one of the premier teams in the league always an eastern conference title contender. Then Layden and Thomas killed us with stupid draft picks ridiculous contracts and crazy free agent signings.

Are either of those teams worse off since they were hired??
I don't think so - the Knicks sucked for a few years before Isaih came
and the Lions have always been a doormat franchise

Thomas is an executive with bad judgment and Millen is not even an executive.

They do have plenty to rejoice about. 31-80 4 - undesirable, negative...abysmal record. notwithstanding, i will omit his dejected look even as the Lions are dropping as a Packer fan. yet, strong information for Lions followers, no doubt.
