Do you think the book Blink could be used for an argument to defend love at first sight? If our unconscious is so good at making snap decisions about people, do you think love at first sight is real?

Please only respond if you've READ Blink. Blink says that we know things about people without knowing why. Our internal computer picks up on subtle signs and we can make quick judgements on people. If humans can figure eachother out in a matter of seconds (according to the book) why wouldn't love at first sight exist?

To quote a journal I read a while ago: "Love at first sight? More like b0ner at first sight!"

Love at first sight would be incredibly presumptiuous about the person's personality. Lust at first sight is more normal and common (acting on it isn't smart though).
