i have deleted a contact on windows live messenger does anyone know if i can retrive it again,and if so how?

try this, go to file, then down to options. then to privacy and youll have 2 boxes. one will be people currently on your list and then a box with ones deleted and blocked. just right click on the name you wanna add back and go to add to list. good luck!!

Open up your Live Messenger contacts box. Go To Tools>>Options>>Privacy tab.
Click on "View" next to "see who has added you......". If you are still on their contact list, their name will be there. Then right click and select "Add to Contacts".

if you go into tools and then options and then privacy and see if there in the list on the right if so then just add them to the list on the left, if not then you may have to invite your contact again. hope this helps
