I believe I'm capable of killing people who deserve it. Innocents/children, however - slap the handcuffs on me 'cos it's just not happening.

Although both options would f*** my life up, I'd choose the second option, definitely. The soldiers don't even have a good reason (the one of the weapons of mass destruction) to invade Iraq; it's stupid..., and besides, I wouldn't kill innocent people, no way...

You are starting from the wrong set of premises in asking your question.
The vast majority of soldiers in Iraq are NOT killing innocent people. In fact, they take great pains and precautions to AVOID killing innocents, including letting criminals and terrorists escape unharmed. The enemies of the Iraqi people (who are almost all Muslims), on the other hand, have no qualms about bombing crowded marketplaces and other public areas in order to inflict heavy civilian casualties.
Just because al-Jazeera says it does not mean it is the truth.

definitely 3 years in jail! I would rather spend time in jail than be responsible for others dying, especially innocent people!

Although I do REALLY like the option of moving to Canada! ;-)

Given no other choices? Jail.

But I would spend every moment in jail trying to bring attention to my choice, and I would try to help people understand my sacrifice is a form of protest and not a result of fear or lack of patriotism.

But I would consider fleeing the country, were that a third option.

Go to Iraq as a soldier.

Very, very few people (since after the initial invasion) have been killed by American soldiers...and the overwhelming majority of those have been by accident.

Over 99% of the civilian casualties and U.S. military casualties over the last 3 years have been caused by the terrorists / suicide bombers....a.k.a. "The Enemy."

(Do so many people honestly believe, deep in their hearts, that American soldiers are the ones who are killing thousands of Iraqi civilians?)

Oh dear, my son, I hope you're not being put in that position. I know we have no draft in America "yet", so I assume you're in the military. Bless you, dear, for even giving it a thought on what might happen. I probably would choose jail as I can't imagine killing someone (unless it was a rapist or child molester and then I'll pull the trap door). 1000 days I can count down. Blessing on you, my son.

You are wrong, you will not be killing innocents.
Go to jail, I wouldn't want to trust protecting my country to you!

I would be a man stand up for my country and go to iraq. I would not be like these spineless yellow cowards of today. If I wasn't on disability I would sign up anyway. my uncle and I offered to go to iraq and get osama just me and him with one rifle each a pistol and all the ammo we could carry the pentigon laughed at us. we were serious! we are crazy and both of have papers to prove it. but we would have got him! moving to canada is out they are working with the usa now and sending cowards back here.
