all bottled water is fine, it has to undergo purity testing all the time.
The minerals you listed are added to improve the taste of water.

Where did you get the idea not to drink tap water when pregnant? Tap water is fine to drink and should be your first source of water since bottled water may contain too many additives like one you are are already drinking. Unless your tap water has been deemed unfit to drink it there is no reason you can't drink tap water. If you prefer bottled water that is fine but pick one without all the additives.

You should be drinking tap water. It's a myth that bottled water is better for you. Tap water has been fortified with flouride to build healthier bones and teeth. Pregnant women and young children need to drink tap water for bone formation. The best thing to do is get a water filter for your tap at home rather than buying bottled water. The filter will eliminate the things you don't want but keep the flouride.

Whatever water you drink should be fine--if you are worried about local tap water call your water department and ask about test results. The fed. gov requires certain tests be done on water quality every year.

BTW Flouride is not found in all public water.

Whatever you do, make sure you drink plenty of water---dehydration can lead to pre-term labor which I found out the hard way.

So drink up!

If your tap water comes from a well, it wouldn't be the best to drink. Most tap water is going to be perfectly safe so long as you can stand to drink it (my city water smells like chlorine, ugh). Any bottled water is going to be perfectly safe. Just stay away from the caffinated water.

Calm down Yes, it would probably be better if she was drinking 2 liters, but this is not an issue that will hurt the baby. The baby will get what it needs. It has priority on everything - food, water, protein. If the baby needs water, your wife will get thirsty. It's as simple as that. Now, be calm and supportive. Worrying constantly can actually do more damage.

I drank tap water with all three of my babies
All three our above average in school
I think bottled water has some sort of bacteria that can form from being bottled...Take your vitamins, your baby will be just fine !

I drank tap water all through my pregnancies. Of course I live in Norway and the water is safer here.
