Is she the Mother of your girlfriends best mate rather than your best mate? If so, go for it. The Mother will be unlikely to tell anyone close about it.
In a slightly similar situation, after breaking with a gf, I sh***d her georgeous looking mother about 3 times a week for about four months. It was absolutely brilliant sex and I still think worth the beating I took from her husband when he found I had got her pregnant.
