I receintly purchased a set of lowering springs and I know that the stock shocks will not be safe with a fully adjustable lowering system (up to 4 inches but im not that stupid to slam it that much) I own a 93 Honda Civic Sedan (sleeper) could you give me some name brands and prices... I would like to spend no more than 300... but I know thats not too much.... I also know the weight of the front will not make the front of the car fly up and down as much... but again... tell me names, prices, and effect they will give me... thanks guys...

I have Tokico on my 2000 Civic Si and they are great. So of course Im gonna recommend those. Koni makes great shocks too.

I would have to agree with the guy above...save up your money and buy the Tein kit. You'll be happier with the results. I eventually want to get Tein for my Si.

when you lower your car,it will put more stress on the suspension parts.those suspension parts were calibrate to for that particular height. it does not matter what expensive or cheap shocks you put in,it will damage the new shocks right away.

If you read your manual it states to get honda ones. They are engineered to the exact specs of your model.

If you don't it might not balance out right.
