I think on this one you need to start your own Certification Agency. It, easy to do, many other professions have started this way to make some easy money on the side. Many of those mail order colleges have their own certification agency to show they certified by someone, looks important on their "Fliers".
Think of a good professional name and a cool looking Emblem. Then you make up a nice sign to put in front of your Business, saying something like;
"Certified by the National Car Detailing Association of America".
If, you can make the name a type of Acronym it be even better.
Once this gets rolling you have a test people take to get Certified. Maybe charge them $5-10 and then they can buy different size signs from you to Officially Display in front of their business. Of, course you still have your Business too, the Certifications just a little extra income and help people look more professional, like an ASE certified mechanic.
