No. You need a universal remote, and have to have the code for your model of Ferguson to program it.

This page may have it. I like Green Day, too.!!

No. You can get a universal remote, but you want to be sure that you brand is listed. Even if it is listed it may not work, but this has happened to me and I have taken it back to the store. Are you in the UK, because I don't recognize that brand of tv. Anyway, I have a Mitsubishi from the 1980's and the only universal remote I have found that works for it is called All In One.

Get a universal remote and follow the directions on the package to program it. Or you might try new batteries in the old remote. Just an idea.

No, each TV has its own encoding.
For most "Universal" remotes, it is a pain to pick the right encoding. And, usually it is only partly right. It has some of the same controls as the original, and lacks most of them.
The type of remote that you "train" works better, but you need a remote that works perfectly to "train" it with. Catch 22: when your remote works perfectly, you don't buy a replacement!

No. You would have to buy a new universal remote and program it to the tv you want.

no, there is no standard protocol, although many adopt a self-learning system as used by the "universal remotes"
