Not to worry. Diebold has put a tiny camera in every voting machine. Anyone who fails to vote REPUBLICAN will be photographed and in the ensuing days vans will make their way through residential areas all over America collecting these TRAITORS and ATHEISTS and pushing them over the border into Mexico or Canada, whichever is closer.

Free speech on Yahoo Answers is meaningless. Free speech that allows an American to express their displeasure with an administrations policies is what this country is supposed to be about. Calling someone unamerican because they criticize Bush or any other president is itself fundamentally unamerican.

I don't hate Bush personally. However like a lot of people I hate his policies. Don't tell me that I don't appreciate what we have. Sitting down and staying silent is the surest way to lose what we have.

First of all there is no "right" to free speech on yahoo!answers, we are all bound to the community guidelines. Second, it is inaccurate to call those expressing their opinions within the guidelines set by Yahoo! "un-american" because they have expressed negative opinions about Bush. I am thankful for the revolutionary war soldiers who fought to give us the right to free speech. I am thankful also to all of the soldiers since, including most of the parents and grandparents of all of the posters here, who have fought on our behalves. However, it is because I am thankful that I do not want our rights eviscerated by an executive that loathes privacy and resurrects the term "unamerican" back from it's 50-year old grave.

Finally, as other posters have indicated, the Amish are peace-loving, not war mongers like the president for whom you so beligerently advocate.

Hey you un american bush follower! Question authority at all times or you will lose the ability to question authority. We already seen the suspension of habeas corpus for anyone the president or any future president decides is an enemy combatant. Once declared a combatant. So don't you lecture ANYONE ON FREE SPEECH!!!! All you want to do is muzzle everyone else's speech. We liberals appreciate what we have so much that we are willing to fight this president to preserve it not roll over and let him take away our rights every time he wraps himself in the flag.

You can appriciate soilders without supporting a war. This country did not go through the mess that was vietnam for anyone to get called "un-American" when they voice dissent. If fact....callling somebody "un-American" just because they don't agree with you is probably as un-American as it gets.

Sadamn wasn't knocking on my door trying to take my rights away...but the Bush administration is knocking and has taken some rights away.

I appreciate what I have more then you could possibly understand.

No soldier on foreign soil is fighting for my right to free speech.

They are fighting for Afganistan and Iraq's right to free speech. (and coincidentally for our right to their resources)

And they are losing and everybody knows it besides people like you.

And please don't confuse my hatred for the people who pollute American rivers, clear cut American forests, poison Americans with shitty food, steal American savings and send American soldiers overseas based on lies, with hatred of America itself.

I think there is every reason to hate these people.

You, however, are conditioned to trust your poisoners because they wear suits and sound good on TV.

Distracted the whole while from the devastation of the land you love, throwing turds at the people who would do something about it as if you were a monkey.

And you don't know what I appreciate, how arrogant that you would even make such a claim.

Al Gore is one of the people who gave me the right to free speech on Yahoo answers, and I voted for him. And I also protested in the street against the Iraq war, and in a couple years even you will have to admit the fact that I was right.

But will you respect me even then? Probably not.

Because that is what hatred does to people.

In other words, get the log out of your eye, then come back and talk to me.

its amazing how you can tell who's young and who's not.
AND VOICING ONES OPINION IS NOT UN-AMERICAN- It is the foundation of this country. I do not have to like you respect the president just because he is a President. You have to earn respect not demand respect. I respect the office of the president but not the man. Yo know you really should read up on the founding fathers and what they have said and stood for you will be surprised...We are not the UnAmericans- You are

As a Desert Storm vet, and current Federal Employee- I would say this to you- THE U.S. MILITARY GUARANTEES/PROTECTS OUR RIGHTS AS AMERICANS TO SAY ANYTHING WE LIKE (I.E.- THE CONSTITUTION) AND "HATE" WHOMEVER WE WOULD LIKE TO HATE.
People claiming to be "patriots"- have you ever served in the military? Has anyone in your family ever served in the military? This country would be NOTHING without the/our strongest military force in the world! But when listings like this are posted, one tends to get overly excited and ramble on. Most people I know "hate" (such a strong word) the WAY Dubya is using the military- do you think that the American people are better off since Iraq? I would definitely say that Dubya's friends in the defense and oil businesses surely are- but what about the military members and their families? This is the hot topic….

Wow! That will teach em! Insult them and they will see the wrongs of their ways!

maybe you should see if Bush could take lessons from the Amish. They do not look to go to war. They do not look to send people off to their death to deliver death to others. They do not lie, cheat or swindle the people who voted him in!

For his first term, I was completely in support of Bush, he betrayed us and I woke up. I do not hate him, I just want him out of office.

As for the American Soldiers that have gone off to war, I feel sorry for them because they are not being told the reality of it all.

But hey, I forgive you for not knowing better. How is that for a start of following the Amish?

Why is it that people like you are the ones who always say we should be thankful for free speech while at the same time you do everything you can to stifle free speech? You are a hypocrite just like all neo-con republicans.
