I heard that only a small percentage of people actually find jobs online. Is this true? If so, what are the best avenues to travel, when looking for a job post graduation?

I am a recent college graduate myself and it is hard, but I registered with temp agencies. It depends on which ones are the best for you. Some of the temp agencies have clerical work which I am qualified to do, so call them to see how many years of work experience do they need. Some won't even give me the time of day. Good Luck to you.

Get yourself a head hunter and/or post your resume on line like at monster.com. Find what type of career you are looking for and what company, Then research them. Call them and ask to speak to th HR person you are researching hiring practises on what that employer looks for. Then apply for a Job with that firm. Good Luck!

I went through a temp agency after going from interview to interview. If you don't have a lot of experience it is tough. I tried all the online job sites (careerbulider, hotjobs, etc.) and they are all pretty much the same. Good luck. I hope you have better luck than I did.
