Hi I have all my songs in itunes but when I connect them to the ipod only about 3/4 of them transfer. Can you tell me if there is some format they should be all in and how do I do thisquickly and with the least fuss on itunes

I agree with the first answer. However, also see if the box in front of the song title is "checked" off. It will not copy to your iPod unless that box has a check mark.

Check the memory size of all your songs put together. Are they bigger then the storage size on your ipod. If not make sure all your songs have song and artist names. I've found that they sometimes dont show up if theres no name and artist.
