Do you usually spend holidays with family/friends even though you can't get a long with them so you wouldn't feel alone and depressed OR would you rather or usually spend the holidays alone because you feel sane that way because you can't stand your family?

Christmas and Thanksgiving we spend the the family that we can stand-last time we all got together it was way to much drama.

Spend holiday with people you can get along with, be it friends or family. However in a group setting holiday there must not be to many chefs stirring the pot. However it also no fun if you are all alone stirring the pot.

We spend it with family. My husband and I spend half of the day with my family, half with his. It's crazy with alot of running around, but at the end of the day when were on our way home we always reflect back on the day and how wonderful it was. Holidays are about family.

most of the time with family but some of the family just mess up the holidays so it is better off just myself.. so now i so hafe and hafe.. see how the mood is .. if it is bad i make some holidays just me and my new hubby and turn off the phones till late and then call people and say hi and all.
