I am a Christian pro-choice Rep. and I am not happy about it either. The fundamentalists are ruining society.

There are a lot of pro-choice Republicans. But they tolerate the fundamentalists because they don't have a majority without them. If choice is an issue with you, I would suggest looking into the Libertarian Party. The Libertarians offer the best of both the Republican and Democrat strengths.

I don't feel it has been hijacked. Note: Abortion is still legal. I may be pro-choice & pro-gay marriage, but I don't like the idea that people can't have the 10 Commandments on their desk either. Some of those fundamentalists are reacting to actual discrimination from the left. It doesn't personally effect me as I'm agnostic, but I think its wrong.

No. Democrats are the people who seem to get bothered when some holds different beliefs. I am a non Christian, pro choice Republican but I have no arguement with Republicans who are pro life either. I think it's a decision that's best left to the involved persons rather than the government. I just don't thing that the government should be paying for them either.

Your second question starts "do you" & ends with "your political party" - that means mind YOUR own business. "Do you" care that "your political party" has been hijacked by murderers (T.Kennedy) & adulterers ( Clinton & too many to list) & has become the stands for nothing party?
My religion is none of your business, but I assume from your 1st question, you are not Christian since you are looking for one non-Christian in our party.
