They are not canker sores. They are small and red. Could be just one, or a few. They are not from hot foods or anything, because they usually appear after I wake up in the morning, not after I eat. They come and go. Are they cold sores?

it may be cause from smoking
if you do smoke try brushing your teeth before bed

my grandmother always told me that if you get sores on your tongue,you told a lie to someone.you must go and make it right for them to go away.(i believe it is just a cold sore).

I don't know what they are, but when I got them my mother would tell me to take laxatives. She said it was because there were too many chemicals in my bloodstream from eating processed and junk foods.

not sure what they could be...do they hurt? are they bothersome? if not then maybe its nothing to worry about if u are concerned though go check it out with a doctor just to get a accurate answer! best of luck to you:)
