This is most likely an "idiot" light telling you that you have a low power brake fluid level. The reason it would go away after warming up is simple - brake fluid expands as it gets warmer, so you have less in the reservoir.

Go to a service station and buy the correct brake fluid (look in your manual to find out what type to get) and top off the reservoir. It will only cost about $5 to find out if this is the problem....

Check your brake fluid level, possible you are low so the sensor will trig er and the light will come on

the brake fluid level sensor located inside the brake mastercylinder is binding. disconnect the sensor and try it for a few days to confirm.
