If the food is that bad, complain to the manager - he might comp. your meal. If it isn't THAT bad, just overpriced - still say something. "The quality of the food didn't match what I expected at these prices." We in this nation have become to accustomed to not saying anything. Telling friends and others about the low quality/price ration will only turn away business which won't necessarily lower the prices or improve the food; although, that is an option.

By the way, Jo's Crap Shak is overpriced. It could be free and I still wouldn't go. ;-p

No it shouldn't be a crime to overcharge for bad food. It's rules of economics. No one forces you to pay overpriced rates for bad food it is your choice to do so. if no one will pay for the bad food then either the company will have to improve the food or lower the rates in order to stay in business.

Crappy food is in the eye of the beholder. If you don't like it, don't eat there! I'm sure there are many other fine restaurants where the food quality matches the price.

It SHOULD be a crime.
And I also think that service people who have bad attitudes should be made to pay a "Tip Back" to the customer that they treated badly from their pay checks.
It's only fair.

Of course then customers who leave no tip or close to no tip even when they were treated well should be made to pay a "Double Tip" as well.

Or we should just stop with the whole tipping thing because quite frankly, when I go out with my friends it's close to impossible to figure out the reasonable tip amount once we get hammered.
