Well it all started with Conan O'Brien, who had this little dog puppet with a cigar come in and insult him. Then he started to show up on red carpets.

well he started as a character on Late Night with Conan O'Brien. He's a puppet who would do "reporting" from places like dog shows and he would sniff real dogs and say insulting things he smokes a cigar. He's since moved on to bigger and badder things... but he's be around for like atleast 10 years.

It was a very famous puppet from the Conan O'brien show....by the way yours was a great question....for me too p o o p on!!
