In THE CELESTINE PROPHECY, a Peruvian holy man wrote
long ago, that humans engage in control dramas.
Some are POOR MEs, who put us on a guilt trip.
Some are INTERROGATORs, that ask questions until they find
something they can use against us.
Some are INTIMIDATORs, that holler and kick things.
And some are ALOOFs, who give us the silent treatment.
The holy man said that we have cut ourselves off from the
Source of Life. And unconsciously play these game to manipulate
each others spiritual energy.
But the LIFEFORCE is all around us. And there is no need to do these things.

Makes me want to reread that book. It changed my life in a very positive way. I do strive to live a more understanding and accepting life. It is a struggle but I enjoy it daily.

I think we all know this, at least subconsciously. As humans, we feel compelled to have some kind of control over our lives. This should mean we control ourselves and our actions, but many people don't understand this (or that we simply cannot control everything) and seek to control others instead. We are very insecure creatures, I think.
