Ok maybe i used the wrong words,, what are the main differences outsiders notice between the US and Canada....

It's hard to say what you mean by "better." We don't go broke if we have health problems. We still have dishonest politicians like Americans do. It's a free society but we have poor and homeless who are marginalized. Like I say it's hard to say.

It's not better in every way, but it's more enlightened socially. It ended slavery long before we did, it allowed interracial marriage long before we did and it allows gays to marry while we're still stupidly trying to bar gays from marrying citing how "moral" we are.

But Canada doesn't count for much on the world stage because it has no military worth worrying about and it doesn't have the huge egos of Britain and France. It's basically an American state with a different currency.

Because prostitution is legal there.
And it used to be a sanctuary from the Draft during Vietnam.
(I remember Dad having a friend from high school who relocated there during the draft)
