If we type mainly in lower-case letters, why....?

ARE ALL THE BUTTONS ON THE KEYBOARD UPPER-CASE?

For the benefit of Kevin M and others, I, naively, assumed you would know what I meant.... I sincerely apologise for this over-sight!

I used to be a computer engineer at a school for kids with learning difficulies and the keyboards were all in lower case.
There are companies on the internet that can supply you with custom made keys....at a cost of course.

For recognition reasons, upper case characters actually take longer for your brain to inturpret, therefore, you are required to pay more attention!

The keyboard was also modelled on old fashioned type writer keyboards, which traditionally did not have any lower case characters available (everything was upper case).

If someone sends me a text for example in uppercase i would thing hey are shouting at me or that they angry. Uppercase on the keyboard is probably just easier to read.

when we type, it may be hard to differentiate (tell the difference) between an 'a' 'o' and 'o' whereas when we write, we usually show the curve at the bottom, telling apart the 'a' and 'o' '0' also, some people DO write 'a' with the hook at the top it all depends on handwriting styles :)

because it is easier to see what letter it is for all who use it yet I feel the lower case is a softer type of reading less aggressive BECAUSE IF I SPOKE ON HERE LIKE THAT IT'S TOO IN YOUR FACE.

they arent....just the letters....Enter, Backspace, Shift, these arent all uppercase...
