I actually just recently did a workshop on Long Form improv, and it's amazing. Instead of your typical slapstick it's realistic. Most importantly.
state the relationship at the beginning this way both people know what is happening.
Never say no, think "yes and" and it always keeps the dialouge moving.
Be sincere don't try to get a laugh
If you're on your own
Just let your mind wander and remember that nothing is wrong
If you get tense or think you're saying something stupid often you get "actors block"
If you have an idea of what people want practice that, or consider different outcomes and work on ideas and vocal variation

Hope this helps

The Improv bit will be improvisation. Which bassicy skill they grant you with a situation or an surroundings and also you favor to create it with out props and striaght away instant. I extremely were to ones till now the position they have stated stuff like, ok now i elect you to stroll round like your 3 years old back, or like its chilly. I extremely have also been to ones the position the Improv bit has been each and every man or woman receives in a circle and also you've were given to make some thing up like you get up and play with a pretend toy or some thing and then bypass it to someone and it transformations, i also went to at least one the position you had to fake to be a circus act. you need to be prepared for some thing, the in hardship-free words thanks to practice is to ensure your waiting to be very confident and carry out in the front of each and every man or woman.

For acting emotions, associate them with an event that has triggered those emotions before. For example, if you need to cry, think of an event that made you cry lots, then bring that memory to mind. I find scenes from certain movies, when brought to mind, make me cry.
Improv is all about confidence. If you make a mistake, try and turn the situation around to your advantage. Don't stop and think or worry about it. Just keep going.

Always stay calm and keep going if you go wrong. Practice loads beforehand in the mirror. The BBC website has some good tips too. Good Luck!!

Improvisation can be hard... the key to improv is to be relaxed and LISTEN!!! Listen and react... it doesn't hurt to be educated on the subject at hand. The best improvists are people I deem to be "never ending pits of useless information."

Listen and React!

Hope that helps.

Practice in front of the mirror. Tape yourself and watch it over and over again.
