although many have given you some fairly good ideas
let me toss in my 2 cents worth

one possibility:
compare Greek gods/heroes with their Sumerian/Assyrian/Babylonian counterparts....
for instance, Marduk with Heracles
or Tiamat with Phyton..

or
a more "detailed" look at the hero "heracles"
his name means "beloved of Hera" yet Hera seemed to be his enemy....

or
trace the way the traits of the particular gods changed with the changing Greek culture....for instance, the role of the "furies" changed from the revengeful executors of "lex talonis" to the watchguards of civic law

or
the "rivalry" between the "classic gods" of the Greek pantheon and the cults of Mithra, or Isis or Perseus....

good luck

YES!!!!!!! i am an expert in greek mythology. well i would do the main story of how the gods killed kronos and divided up the territory and i hope you know how it all works but if not ill tell you the story it all starts when the titan Kronos gets married to mother earth and then he gets a vision from an oracle that tells him his children will over throw him from ruling everything so whenever his wife had children they were gods and immortal but kronos would swallow them whole and they lived in his stomach for quite a while until zeus was born then mother earth hid him and tricked kronos with a rock instead of zeus and he swallowed the rock whole while his mother raised him in secret then when zeus was old enough he somehow made kronos puke all the kids out ( you can look up how on google) and then they banished him to the deepest pit in tartarus(the deepest darkest part of the underworld) sorry if i wasted your time telling stuff you already knew+

You could also do a project on how the gods were aspects of mankind. Each god in Greek mythology represented a human trait rather than a force of nature as in most other mythologies. Such as Dionysis representing the beast within us, especially the one let out by excess and alcohol.

There are many directions you can take with this one. What are you most interested in?

You could compare the heroes to one another, or the monsters. You might look for influences of other cultures in the myths. A comparison of Sinbad and Odysseus could be interesting. Pandora always makes for an interesting topic-- you ever wonder what Hope was doing in the jar with all of those evils?

Lots of cool stuff to choose from.

I always thought it was interesting how some myths can be found in movies today. For instance, the movie "Legend" starring Tom Cruise and Mia Sarah.

It is very similiar to the Persephone myth. Sarah's character Lilly finds herself in the realm of Darkness who tries to ply her with food and drink and her world is consumed in darkness and snow as Cruise's character Jack searches for her.

All you have to do is watch the movie and read the story. Or maybe pick another movie and story.

their gods, mainly, their beliefes. i would go for "The many Gods in Greek Mythology" and describe each of them and their purpose, then you could go further and explain how they have influenced culture then and today
