I need some suggestions to watch relevant programing, not stupid crap. I tried watching the guy that teaches Statistics on TV, but that does get a little boring after awhile, need more suggestions.

if you have access to cable or to satellite you can check out the following channels for educational and learning type of programming.

The History Channel
National Geographic Channel
The Learning Channel (TLC)
Home and Garden TV (HGTV)
Public Television (PBS)

News channels are also good sources for information about what is going on in our world, but those programs can have some violence as our world is a violent place these days.

There is a lot of programming available now for all kinds of personalities. If none of these recommendations have helped you, you can call your local cable or satellite company and tell them your interests and they can likely inform you which channels will have programming to fit your needs.

Good Luck!

Let's see, there's always the Discovery Channel, Weather Channel, Animal Planet, National Geographic Channel, TLC, Discovery Health, Travel Channel, History Channel, Home and Garden, PBS (I love Seseme Street) etc etc...just to name a few. Of course I know nothing of your tastes and your stupid crap might be my cup of tea. These are what I watch and my IQ is 138. If you want straight forward tv then try the Weather Channel. Have a good one.

I'm sorry but if its not silly and stupid, I don't want to watch it. If you are so against anything silly, stupid, involving sports, violence etc., then you should just read educational books. What is your problem anyway? There is nothing wrong with watching silly things, game shows, sports, or infomercials for entertainment. And sometimes there is violence on the news, so if you want to be in touch with reality you might see something violent. Sermons though, I understand.

It's hard to say, since you don't explain what "relevant programing" means to you; or give examples of what you consider stupid and silly.

PBS often has good stuff.

Food Network has some good shows (though it also has stupid and game shows, depending on time of day and day of week).

Also, we have no way of knowing what channels are available to you.

You're kidding right? I'm not sure that's possible. Ha! Honestly, I stick to networks like the Discovery channel, history channel sometimes.

Hey, I like mythbusters too. They prove stupid people wrong.
