Americans have a hard time seperating the President from the Person, Bill Clinton was a FANTASTIC President, but as a man he was fallable. He tried to protect his marriage so he lied about Monica, so what, that really had no effect on what he did as President. The rest of the world loved him as President of the USA, the Economy was good, our standing in the world was good, The Dow Jones soared, we had very few conflicts, yes we did have some, but nothing like Iaq, Iran, N. Korea, Israel/Lebanon ... Americans criticize him for Osama Bin Lauden, he has explained himself on that issue many times, the drone was unarmed. Bush however was left with intelligence (Since he hasn't any) that said that terrorist would attack the USA and he failed to protect us, even after the attack, he stayed seated at the school listening to a childrens book being read until someone came in to TELL HIM what to do. Clinton was a true leader, and no matter how much he was backed into a corner always came out on to (No Monica pun here).

I would vote for him again if he could run for President, but he cant ... I would however vote for his wife, not because I truely like her politics but because it would brin Bill Clinton back into the whitehouse in some capacity.

Cheers :)

yes, he was the only president to balance the budget and the economy was good.

Anyone's better than Bush and Clinton had things running much better..he might be better than the unknown..with all the vote fraud who knows who we will get next time. Just saw his IQ is double Bush's (Clinton 182 and Bush 91)

HECK NO!

He LIED TO THE GLBT COMMUNITY!
HE SIGNED THE DEFENCE OF MARRIAGE ACT! (DOMA)

HE CRUMBLED UNDER PRESURE REGARDING "DON'T ASK, DON'T TELL!"

HE'S A CONVICTED LIAR!

Now, since this is a "what if" I'd probably vote for him again simply because the country was doing so much better under his Presidency. He got our economy back on track, he actually created thousands of good paying jobs, we really we secure, our children's education was in a much better state, even higher education did very well.

But solely on the GLBT issues, no, he lied and caved under pressure....please do not use that as a defining moment in history. It's actually quite shameful what he did to our community.

Yes- I would... unemployment was at an all time low, and like you said, he honored our sexuality... if Hilary runs in 2008, I'd definitely vote for her!

*Just vote for the b*tch!*

no, I would not vote for him. Because of his tax policies, social policiies, and the extreem military budget cuts of his last administration.
he has NEVER held a regular job.....he is a professional politician, and I think America has had enough of professional politicians. It seems to me the best presidents this country has had were always people that worked at some job for a while before going into politics;
I think that one big problem we face is a lack of quality candidates on all levels in all parties because you have to be rich to run for elected office at the higher levels.
(and don't misunderstand....I don't like Bush either!)
The original intent of the framers of the constitution imho was to have representatives of the people that came from the common ranks of the electorate; but the common man can't afford to run for office and take care of his other responsibilities.

Yes, I would vote for him; although not for the same reasons as you. We require intelligent, consensus building leadership with an agenda for the American people, not just the Right, wealthy and special interests.

I would vote for Bill Clinton but not for the reasons you mentioned . The don't ask don't tell policy has not worked and will never work . For some reason gays are unable to keep their sexual preferences to themselves period . They are so caught up into trying to gain acceptance for their deviant behavior that it supersedes their sensibilities . That coupled with their urge to recruit like minded individuals make it virtually impossible for same sex marriage to ever become common place and acceptable behavior . They are notoriously shooting there selves in the foot regarding this matter . I don't hate those with a certain preference however I don't want it pushed on me by those that don't miss an opportunity to flaunt this type of behavior . Gays should get over there selves and keep there business in the bedroom private.
