You don't say what your interests or abilities are. Here are some jobs that are interesting and fun, and don't require slaving away at a desk-- in which you can expect a decent income.
* Delivery driving. You may have to get a special license.
* Pet sitting-- if you like animals, this is a growing industry. I knew some people who worked as a team; they made $70,000 in their first year with no investment, and it was fun. If you get a license you can make more money.
* Babysitting. People always need someone to watch their brats when they're at work and it's lucrative. You should get a license to do day care.
* Working in a small store or shop of any type will expose you to every facet of retail.
* Groundskeeper. I always wanted to do this but the recent graduates would beat me to it every time! A groundskeeper for an apartment complex can make good money, learn a lot, and have fun.
* Freelance writer/consultant. (Depends on your area of interest and writing skills.)
* And last but not least: Panhandling. You may think this is a flippant suggestion but it's not. People I've known who panhandled/done street begging can make a thousand bucks a day or more. You're out in the fresh air and you meet interesting people.
