Very satisfying job of bringing life into this world. BUT............you do all of the grunt work of the OB, so not not become an OB?
FYI - Midwives delivers more babies than the OB does but gets paid only a fraction of what an OB makes. I had a midwife all of my births.

pays better than standard nursing, less school and responsibility than being an ob/gyn
