I laughed like a drain when I read that - but to be honest I thought you were going to ask which gets stuffed, and where - the answer being that a marrow gets stuffed with a meat filling usually in a hole as it's sliced across, whereas the cuc is sliced lengthwise and usually filled with soft cheese.
..and if you believe that..................
By the way, I'll give it half a day before somebody twigs and reports it for being too funny... (your question I mean!)

I am wondering if i have time to answer this question, you have kindly asked in a gardening capacity.
Of course the answer depends on the size of furrow you are trying to fill, if you are a gardener who's furrow is of a shallow persuasion I would recommend the cucumber, however for deeper more regularly used furrows the marrow may fill the gap so to speak
The added question must also be asked regarding fertiliser and I would suggest that the marrow not be used in the channel filled with fertiliser, I would limit that to the cucumber

I would say that marrows are more filling, especially when stuffed to the hilt with something or other, I think there disgusting and too big, cucumber do it for me, love the taste of them.

Different Kettle of fish. Marrow more filling, plus great with a sunday roast. Maybe removed before i finish answer, maybe not. Who knows, its a crazy world, (would recommend a good lube)

I love to stuff a marrow.....with rice and peppers and fried onion. Do you know the Greeks used to warm melons up, cut a hole in them and f*** 'em! Now you just can't see Jamie Oliver doing that can you? And why? Because he's a d**k-less wonder that's why.
