Good timing; Ccleaner have just released a new version.
And its free.
http://www.ccleaner.com Cr*pcleaner Registry cleaner and privacy tool
The 'cleaner' button is the one you need most often.
When you first use the 'issues' cleaner, don't tick and remove everything on the list in one go; do them in batches of 10 or so and back up the registry each time. That way if anything is uninstalled that you needed, you can re-install it by double clicking on the Ccleaner notepad file in your 'my docs' folder.
Its a safety back up;' but I've never known anyone need it with this program. Its amazingly fast, accurate and safe.

You can clear your internet cache simply from teh Options window (Tools>>Options) in Internet Explorer.
Remember that clearing the Cache does not remove all evidence of sites you have viewed.
For example there are (hidden) files named Index.dat on the disk which Windows will not allow you to delete which track your history. The application recommended (Cleaner) earlier is excellent and will remove almost every unwanted file from your system.
