oooooooo. Let the arguements commence. Yes this is MCR's 3rd album and as a long time fan I would have to say that all their albums have been great. Not some poppy crap. Ever listen to some of that pop stuff? It makes me want to scratch out my eyeballs. Can't say MCR is poppy at all.

Album of the decade

Okay and I just want to say this for once and for all
Who gives if they're an EMO band yeah, I said EMO
But what is Emo besides a sterotype used to classifly something that cannot be understood by most?
The lyrics are amazing and they are one of the greatest things to happen to music since Freddie Mercury died
So STFU please and let everyone have their own opinion
Because if you don't like them maybe you should write music instead, if you can do better , SHOW ME!

Is the album out? It's not on iTunes yet anyways, I know that. That's where I usually get my music. Well, I absolutely love their new song "Welcome to the Black Parade." Who cares if its emo or not, it's so original, and it's just good music! I can't wait for the cd, and I'm sure it could win at least Album of the Year. But hopefully decade!!

My Chemical Romance.... enough said, they are emo. And if you rate that as album of the decade you are seriously missing out.

And jumping on the emo bandwagon? wtf? is that some sort of joke... just visit myspace if you want to join the emo bandwagon. There you can do the standard emo foto pose, whine about how you are not understood by the cruel world, and wallow in the idea that you are non-conformist whilst not realsing that you are a total conformist with ones head up ones ****.

They are awsome but I wouldnt say decade- just for the year... and to all those assholes who think this is emo they should read the lyrics and actually look up the definition of EMO!!

I dont know where my man got them, but he gave me a bunch of black parade stickers!! (woohoo!!)

neither.

that cd is god damn TERRIBLE. it's mcr, with all the good stuff cut out, and poppy crap pasted in. predictable, trite, and weak.

"i brought you my bullets you brought me your love" was an amazing cd. from skylines & turnstiles, to vampires will never hurt you, you could believe every word gerard said. you could hear the desperation and raw emotion there. the music was just hard enough to accent this. their live shows were explosive, energetic, and amazing. they weren't afraid to do softer songs (early sunsets over monroeville), but they still had the mcr feel, of somehow sad desperation.

and now, all of that is gone. this new cd is mcr lite. it's pop. throwaway trash, that doesn't do justice to their previous work. even "three cheers" was pretty weak. they'll never get that edge back, because they've sold out and watered everything down, in order to appeal to a broader audience.


and it's ignorant fools like the one above who dont even realize that this is their THIRD album, that make me ashamed to say i used to like them, once.
