Teachers always watch the good kids like a hawk because they WANT them to mess up. For some teachers, it's fun too punish kids. I find that kind of creepy, don't you?

When students are in our classes it is our jobs to watch kids like a hawk. You are our responsibility at that time (no matter how old you are) and if something were to happen while you were our responsibility we'd lose our jobs. It is also our job to make sure you are learning so we have to make sure that nothing gets in the way of your or anyone else's ability to learn. There are times throughout the day where kids can be social with eachother so there is no need for that during class.

In my school it was always the "preps" that got blamed for it. Because the teacher knows that they are popular they just asume that they are talking with their friends in class. Talk to your teacher about it. say hey have i got something on my face, because you keep looking at me and it's making me nervous. Don't become anti social over the intense teach.

I'd wager that the teachers are watching ALL the kids like a hawk. You only notice when they're watching you.

I remember when I was on the swim team... I used to have a really easy time with it until one season when I decided to go for it and really work hard...
During that season, all of a sudden the coach was on my case all the time.. I couldn't understand why until I finally asked him one day and he told me:
Now that you're trying harder, you're worth pushing harder....

i think you're just unlucky.. i don't think the teachers are targetting you. maybe you need to speak to a school counsellor about it.
