You may need to make them, or have them professionally made. It is usually worth the cost, as there are only so many "standard" size curtains, and they look silly if they are not measured to fit.

If you live in an apartment and don't want to or can't afford the expense of custom made curtains/drapes, try making them from flat sheets. It sounds like either king or queen size would work. Walmart sells the flat sheets as opposed to sets and they are the least expensive there. If they fit your windows, you can either use them as they come or sew a seam across the part that would fold over a blanket. Another way to hang them is to use spring curtain clips. They would slide easily over a curtain rod.

Ikea-their standard drapes and shades are made extra long and wide so you can adjust them. I have vaulted ceilings and they were perfect for roof to floor coverings in the bedroom over the over sized windows.

You will probably have to have them made if they are not normal size. They will cost you a bit, but they will fit properly and you won't have to worry about hanging them. Try out your local 'Drapes & Shades store.' Go to several ones and compare prices.
