this might be a stoopid question but has anyone ever seen a movie with NO music at all... none to set scene or suspense

wouldnt u assume that if there was no music to set suspense drama etc that there would b more to count on from the actors??

Yeah, wait.....nope.
Music sets a "mood" for a scene, so I agree with you that if there is NO music, one would need to count on the actors to set the scene's "mood".

Check out several Dogma 95 films, as they don't use music as an enhancer of the scenes. For them, music is acceptable only if it happens in the scene, but it can't be use in post-production.

Music give depth and feeling to any movie...I love listening to soundtracks of great movies like Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean. Great to write and work and study to.

Not that comes to mind...what about Blair Witch Project having said that...? That was all camcorder type thing wasn't it...just sound affects, no background music?

good question, but I can't think of any non silent films with no music
it must be like going to a weatherspoons pub... no atmosphere!
