I dont' want to print the document... how do I abort the print. For the time being I removed the paper from the printer. Am I stuck here having the waste my ink and paper or is there a way to cancel the print?

click on the printer down on the task bar, and just cancel the prin job.

Go to the Start Menu
Printers and Faxes
Double click on the printer you use
Under printer at the top, choose cancel (or purge) all documents

turn your printer off and you should be asked if you want to cancel the current print job. Good luck

usually therees a way to enter the print queue and delete the job..if not just unplug it, cancel the screen, and restart the pc.
