Did you mean confrontation? So you dont want to walk up and talk to her? You could send her flowers. Maybe leave a pink rose by her school locker. Buy her a nice card and write something sweet in it. Just be yourself (assuming you are a nice well adjusted young adult) and be nice to her. Ask your parents, and she hers, if its OK to take her to a movie. My son is 14 and likes a neighborhood girl. I met her family because I wanted them to know who we were and that the boy, who was suddenly hanging around their daughter, comes from a good home. Dads are protective of their daughters...trust me :) So above all be nice, well mannered and respectful. You will do fine. Remember though that you should not feel badly if she does not share your feelings about you. Your young and you will meet other girls. Some will like you a lot, some will be friends, and others may not like you at all. Its the way things are. What is important is that you like yourself and are confident enough to get over rejection. If you do that you will do great at whatever you decide to do.
Now go back and finish your homework ;) Just kididng

Figure out what she likes and do something nice... like leave a flower on her desk. As she looks around for who did that, just your smile and embarrassed blush will say it was you.
If she likes a particular TV personality or athlete or sports team, put together a scrapbook of newspaper clippings about them. If she was particularly affected by the death of someone, then a scrapbook about their life is appropriate.
If there's a comic she likes, or a particular candy... you could get that and leave it at her desk. You could put a little compact mirror on her desk with a note that says "To see something beautiful, look here."
You could write a poem or note... leave a CD or cassette of a song that reminds you of her... or burn her a CD of favorite songs, yours or hers, or a cassette of the same.
You could do something thoughtful, that you could only do by noticing a need. If she has a string hanging off her backpack... or she's dropped her sweater in the hallway... or her shoe is untied ("Let me get that for you") or she left her book on the bus. Girls (of any age!) love it when guys are thoughtful and they notice things :)

Great idea. It's up to you to find a way that fit your personality to let her know. Don't try to be something you are not. Nobody deserves such change of personality. If she doesn't like you (hopefully she will), don't get frustrated, life has better plans and relationships for you... Go ahead and be strong.

So many people ask questions like that here. "How do I tell her/him I like them without putting myself out there in any way?" Thats not the way it works. It's like asking "How do I make a bet without running the risk of losing?" You gonna take the risk or you aren't, but nothing ventured is nothing gained.
