Definitely the actor... you get to become someone else for a period of time. I loved acting/performing.

Director, because not everyone can direct. When in a play, I have often stepped in (without knowledge of the director) to direct the cast, only then were the actors able to perform.

Actor. Because a lot of actors become directors.

Certainly to attain a level where one might "Direct" is often an offshoot of having various other experiences within the context of theater/film.

It also allows for POWER.

Certainly Actors and Actresses become famous, powerful, popular,,, but still,,,even in their finest hours, stand and perform at the Direction of a Director.

I would be a director as they have all artistic control of the film through production....and they mold the actors to their will...

I like that....A film is a Directors work of art.

Definately I'd choose to be the actor. As the directior you don't get to actualy immerse yourself in the world of the play/film your doing. You have to be the objective observer. And besideds, directors have to be bitches sometimes. );-p~

`I enjoy 'performing', so I guess I'd be an actor. I think that I was the court jester for King Arthur in a previous life.
