I am not sure I understand your question, but my father is a Civil Engineering. Good money. Also, they will ALWAYS be around. They are those build foundations, set up sewer systems. It is a job that will never decrese in demand.

Yes..Civil Engg. has a good scope now and in future... With India's Economy booming, you can see and feel lot of development around you.....New Projects coming up everywhere....both in Government and in Private Sector - Roads (National Highway Projects), Power Projects - Thermal plants, New Industry......and the inside story is..Companies who undertake these projects are not able to find Civil Engineers as everybody in India is either into IT, Electronics, Communications, Telecom or.... but not civil. Around 15 years back, Things were bad for Civil Engineers....but not today
My Suggestion is GO FOR IT......and you won't have any problems in getting admission in Civil Engg.as colleges are struggling to fill up their vacent seats....

yes because all are doing electronics engg.and computer science eng. but i think that there is good scope in civil engg.

try to major in tunnels cos they are more interesting
engineering mean to do it cheap but do not caused someone to dead for it
