Honesty - courtesy - intestinal fortitude - conviction - knowledge - understanding of human interactions - manipulation - cunning - ruthlessness.

A good leader needs these qualities, and many others. A good leader is not only a "nice" guy - we got that with Jimmy Carter - not good leadership. A good leader needs to be able to turn on and off any of the above skills.

Some tips for leadership:
1.Begin with praise and honest appreciation.
2.Call attention to people’s mistakes indirectly.
3.Talk about your own mistakes before criticizing the other person.
4.Ask questions instead of giving direct orders.
5.Let the other person save face.
6.Praise the slightest improvement and praise every improvement. Be “hearty in your approbation and lavish in your praise.”
7.Give the other person a fine reputation to live up to.
8.Use encouragement. Make the fault seem easy to correct.
9.Make the other person happy about doing the thing you suggest.

Be active in and of mutual consideration, above, below, and beyond, narrow prejudice, uneven consumption, and inequitable commerce.

Bullies are only bullies because others stand idly by. Just as heroes are only heroes and leaders are only leaders, or pophets are only prophets because others stand idly by. No other bears our collective manifestations but each alone

in my opinion a good leader is someone who delegates efficiently, has confidence in their staff and when all around are losing their heads, cluck like a chicken and pretend they are in a meeting. and that's all my wife has got to say on the subject!!
